Lone Star Medical Transportation provides comfortable and caring non-emergency medical transportation for individuals who are stretcher or wheelchair-bound. Our competent and compassionate team of transport specialists ensure patients receive a seamlessly safe ride whether the trip is to or from a healthcare facility or home. Like you, we want patients to receive the best care. We work together with healthcare providers, patients and families to coordinate and provide convenient and professional services that are always in the best interests of patient access to best care.

  • What are your hours of operation?

    We operate Monday through Friday 7AM – 9PM and Saturday through Sunday 8AM – 6PM.

  • How much do you charge for a transport?

    Each transport is unique and depends on multiple factors. We encourage you to call us at (512) 323-0160 to get a quote.

  • Can someone ride along during the transfer?

    Yes, in fact we encourage care-givers to ride along if it’s convenient. One other fully ambulatory person is welcome to ride along at no charge.

  • How far in advance do I need to reserve a transport?

    24-hrs in advance is preferred; however we are more likely to have availability with advanced notice.

  • Do you have bariatric equipment?

    Yes, we can accommodate bariatric patients and we have the equipment necessary to provide a safe comfortable transport.

  • Will your Transport Specialist put patients into bed and arrange to transport belongings?

    Yes! We offer a full service transport and we will transfer the patient from bed to bed if necessary. Personal belongings that are small and transferable will be handled by our staff and transferred with the client.
